Welcome To Saint Joseph

Father Joe McMahonOne Body. One Baptism. One Faith. These are the things which define the people of Saint Joseph Parish. Our large crucifix (27 feet) reminds us continually that we are to die to Jesus Christ. The large, opening shroud around it reminds us of the Resurrection and the joy that service to each other and the community brings to us.

We are a community of close to 840 households and over 3,000 members. It is a family parish that spans the generations from newborns to great-great-grandparents. We have a strong and vibrant school of 400 students K-8. The buildings seem to never sleep as they are constantly filled with activities and volunteers.

If you are in the Opryland/Music Valley area, or live in Madison, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville or Old Hickory neighborhoods, we invite you to join us!

"Encourage members to bring meaningful items to be photographed with.  Members will love the opportunity to be photographed with their favorite bible or musical instrument, a sports item such as a baseball mitt, volleyball, basketball, a hockey stick or cheerleading pom-poms.  Encourage creativity!  Babies clutching their favorite blanket or stuffed toy make amazing images. Young children are delighted to have portraits of themselves with their favorite doll or toys. Identify what is special and have fun!"

Hosts/Hostesses are asked to arrive about 30 minutes before your shift begins.

Thank you!

Saint Joseph School

NOW ENROLLING FOR THE 2009/2010 SCHOOL YEAR. In today’s increasingly secular culture, there is something to be said for the privilege of practicing one's faith as a bedrock of their education. At St. Joseph School, this is experienced on a daily basis. The faith that we share is incorporated into an outstanding academic environment. Students will use the principles that Catholic schools instill in them, to help guide them through high school and adulthood.

Private tours may be scheduled at any time by calling the school office at 865-1491.More Information
